Speaker’s Bio
Arden B. Levy is the founder of Arden Levy Law PLLC, a business-oriented boutique law firm headquartered in Northern Virginia with an office in Washington, DC. Her practice focuses on insurance recovery matter, with clients in the energy, chemical, healthcare, restaurant, paper, waste product, and defense industries. She also works on internal investigations, product liability matters, and toxic tort claims, and e-discovery issues. Additionally, Ms. Levy serves as a neutral; she is a certified mediator and actively mediates in the Virginia courts, and she also is a panel arbitrator for the District of Columbia Bar Association. Previously, Ms. Levy was Counsel with Howrey, LLP, and before that she served as a military officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, representing a capital defendant whose death sentence was overturned and deploying to Kuwait with the 1st Cavalry Division. She is currently a subcommittee Co-chair for the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee in the American Bar Association’s Section on Litigation; a member of the D.C. Bar’s Steering Committees for Law Practice Management and of the Programs Committee, and Chair of the DC Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Litigation Section; a member of the DC Women’s Bar Association and of the Women’s White Collar Group, and she is an active provider of pro bono legal services. Ms. Levy earned her B.A. from Northwestern University in History and French with Departmental Honors, and her J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law.
